IHC grants transit bail to Imran Khan till August 25 in terrorism case

ISLAMABAD; The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Monday conceded a three-day travel bail to previous head of the state Imran Khan in a psychological oppression body of evidence — recorded against him the previous evening.

The request was recorded through Khan’s direction, Faisal Chaudhry and Babar Awan, in the capital’s top court following a late-night show at Bani Gala — where police and PTI laborers nearly met following reports that capture warrants have been given for the PTI director.

The IHC recorder’s office mentioned three criticisms — Imran Khan didn’t finish the bio-metric check; rather than moving toward the counter psychological oppression court, for what reason did he move the high court?; and the authenticated duplicate of the illegal intimidation FIR was not given — after the insight documented the supplication.

Nonetheless, when Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani and Justice Babar Sattar hear the case, they conceded him bail till August 25, overruled the recorder’s office’s protests, and requested that Khan approach the counter psychological oppression court (ATC) — as it is the important gathering for the situation.

In the interim, the inside service has asked composed authorization from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s office to capture Khan following the enrollment of the case.

As per sources, the PTI executive has passed on his Bani Gala home to stay away from capture, however party pioneers guaranteed that Khan was currently at his home. His whereabouts stay muddled.

Police deployed around Bani Gala

Additional police force has been deployed outside Khan’s Bani Gala residence and the road leading to his residence has also been closed for unauthorised people, allowing only people close to him and the residents of the area to enter, sources told Geo News hours after the registration of the case.

It is not yet decided whether Khan would be arrested or put under house arrest, sources engaged in sketching the strategy of the operation told The News.

“Negotiations with Imran Khan are underway, as the PTI leader wants to avoid arrest or house arrest,” added the sources, saying that the authorities have multiple plans to handle the situation with the help of law-enforcement agencies, but were waiting for a green signal from the quarters concerned.

“Imran Khan is seeking the facility to approach the higher judiciary for obtaining relief, but he will have to surrender before the police as the first step,” the sources added.
